This was not always the case, especially when it found itself in a difficult position. This podcast analyzes three situations where the USSR had to confront its contradictions while attempting to conduct defensive psychological warfare operations: the struggle against the negative effects of the German-Soviet Pact, the fight against a form of military dissidence symbolized by the Vlasov Army, and the effort to establish itself in Germany at the end of the Third Reich.
