Éric Alexandre

Consultant and Trainer in Due Diligence & Compliance / Professor at EGE

He holds a Master 2 in International Relations (Institut de Relations Internationales et Stratégiques – IRIS) and a Master 2 in Economic Intelligence (Université Lyon III).

After two experiences in monitoring at Dassault Aviation and then at Arval (BNP Paribas group), he joined ADIT, the French leader in economic intelligence.

He held various positions in the Due Diligence / Compliance department for 8 years, notably as Senior Consultant, head of training, and finally Project Manager.

Since 2018, he has been working as an independent Consultant on anti-corruption issues.

Éric ALEXANDRE is a Professor at EGE on the topics of Due Diligence and Compliance.

Raphaël Chauvancy

A senior officer in the marine infantry, Raphaël Chauvancy is also responsible for the “strategic intelligence and power politics” module at EGE. Author of numerous works, his research focuses primarily on new forms of conflict and indirect strategies.

Fabien PONSOT

Director of the Due Diligence – Compliance Division at ADIT

A lawyer by training and holder of a Master II in International Relations from IRIS, he joined ADIT in 2008.

Specialized in anti-corruption, he is now the Director of the Due Diligence – Compliance division at ADIT, comprising 45 consultants.

He manages a network of correspondents abroad and supports numerous French groups on compliance issues and investigations in their international operations.

Fabien PONSOT also provides training on Compliance and Due Diligence at several training centers.

Elysabeth BENALI-LEONARD

Elysabeth BENALI-LEONARD is a Business Owner, Expert in Economic Intelligence, and graduate of the Institut des Hautes Etudes du Ministère de l’intérieur in Economic Intelligence and corporate protection.

After 25 years of management and market development in numerous countries internationally, her achievements include the strategic repositioning of a company and the rescue of an industrial sector facing foreign predatory acts, cited in the Guide du Routard de l’Intelligence Economique.

Experienced in carrying out her missions in sensitive areas, she works notably in: training, support, and implementation of prevention procedures and protocols for banking institutions, professional or private organizations, and higher education institutions.

In strategic diagnostic missions and international project management for companies ranging from very small enterprises to mid-sized companies. She represents France in various international organizations including the GSW (Women’s Economic Forum in Davos), AFNOR/CEN (international standardization)… She is a member of think tanks focused on sovereignty and economic security issues internationally, within ANA-INHESJ/Ecole Militaire, and a member of the WG I.E. CNCCEF.

In recognition of her actions in defense of French economic interests, she was awarded the Médaille de l’Ordre National du Mérite in 2012 and made a Knight of the Legion of Honor in 2018.

Valérie Zwilling

Deputy Director General in charge of internationalization at CY Cergy Paris Université since November 2021, Valérie Zwilling’s mission is to develop and implement the institution’s international cooperation policy, structuring the synergy between education-research-innovation.

Previously, at ANRT, as head of the Europe department, she led the working group of public and private actors engaged in research and innovation on topics such as the European research framework programs Horizon 2020 and Horizon Europe. She established the “Data from research to business” working group and created one of the first training offerings on open science.
Following a mission in Brazil (1999-2000) as part of a Franco-Brazilian research contract, from 2001 to 2017 she held various positions within the PSA Peugeot Citroën Group – now Stellantis – including more than 10 years in public affairs for vehicle type approval and for the European research framework program. From 2014 to 2017, as sherpa to the research director, she was spokesperson for the PSA group within the EUCAR association and the PPP European Green Vehicle Initiative.
A graduate of Université Paris-Saclay and holder of a doctorate from the École des Mines de Paris, between 1994 and 2001 she worked for various industrial sectors (aerospace, pharmaceuticals, oil). She was also an auditor of the 30th session of INTEFP, an auditor of the Horizon Europe cycle at ENA, and a former student of the École de Guerre Economique (MSIE 38).

Mother of two children, she has also been a councilor in her municipality since 2008, where she served as deputy mayor from 2008 to 2014, responsible for quality of life, sustainable development, and participatory democracy. Since 2020, she has also been a community councilor.

Olivier de MAISON ROUGE – Lex-Squared

Associate Professor at the École de Guerre Economique (EGE), regular speaker at IHEDN and at the École Nationale de la Magistrature (ENM) where he is training director on legal intelligence and trade secret protection.

Member of the ethics committee of the French economic intelligence union (SYNFIE). Co-chair of the Intelligence and Economic Security commission of ACE (Avocats conseils de l’entreprise).

Former rapporteur of the Working Group (Ministry of Economy and Finance / SISSE) on the transposition of Directive No. 2016/943 of June 8, 2016 on trade secrets.

Having been called upon during his career to defend companies facing economic espionage attempts and economic interference (notably technological theft), he has developed a genuine doctrine on legal countermeasures and protection of information assets. He is thus one of the specialists in intangible asset security and their valuation.
He thus contributes to the development of references and standards in economic security and sovereignty regarding sensitive information.

Nicolas Ravailhe

After working in several ministerial cabinets in France and within European institutions, the European Parliament, Committee of the Regions, and European Commission, Nicolas Ravailhe practices as a lawyer.

Nicolas Ravailhe advises economic and social operators, primarily companies, states, territories, and non-governmental organizations, in achieving their strategic, social, legal, economic, and financial objectives in connection with European, national, and territorial legislation and funding, as well as on issues related to the management and development of their activities.

Nicolas Ravailhe is a specialist in European internal market law as well as international agreements concluded by the EU with third countries. With this comprehensive view of European issues, their legal and economic impacts in connection with EU decision-making processes, as well as through the consequences generated in member states, Nicolas Ravailhe has developed several approaches to secure and enhance economic activities (companies, cooperatives, associations, professional federations, or territories…).

Drawing on EU law and strategies, this euro-accountability expertise is often of great assistance to the governance of organizations, particularly in their relations with national or local public authorities. Europe thus helps facilitate negotiations in member states as well as with third countries, particularly in Africa.

Nicolas Ravailhe is the author of chapters on Europe in his co-written works: – from CNER on territorial economic intelligence, – economic intelligence in Africa / VA Editions; – Qui est l’ennemi EGE / Nouveaux monde. Nicolas Ravailhe regularly publishes analyses on the école de pensée sur la guerre économique website (www.epge.fr) as well as columns in the newspaper La Tribune.

Nicolas Ravailhe has also participated in the introduction of economic intelligence programs in territories.

Within the CR 451 research center at the École de guerre économique, Nicolas Ravailhe contributes to research and analysis on European issues as well as their interconnections with the various disciplines of economic intelligence.

Erwan Seznec

Erwan Seznec, 53, is a journalist in the society section of the weekly magazine Le Point since April 2022. He edited Jean Boustani’s testimony at the request of publisher JC Lattès, after verifying the accuracy of Jean Boustani’s statements. Before working at Le Point, he contributed to various national press titles: Marianne, Causeur, Que Choisir, Médiacités, La Tribune…

With a legal background and a graduate of the École supérieure de journalisme de Lille, he considers himself primarily an economic journalist, led through investigations to broaden his field of expertise – or more precisely, to marginally reduce his vast field of incompetence. His interest in economic intelligence began while covering the Gemplus affair, which became Gemalto, in the early 2000s.

Jacques Sapir

Jacques Sapir was born in 1954 in Paris. He obtained his degree (with “congratulations from the Jury”) from IEP-Paris (1976), and completed his two doctorates in 1980 (third-cycle thesis) and 1986 (state doctorate in economics) on the Soviet economy. He was Associate Professor at Université Paris-X Nanterre (1986-1990), then at EHESS (1990-1996). He was elected director of studies in economics at EHESS-Paris in 1996 (retired since 2018) and was also director of the doctoral training program in development economics from 1996 to 2009. He is currently a professor at EGE-Paris, visiting professor of economics at MSE-MGU (Moscow) after having been a visiting professor at VShE-Higher School of Economics (Moscow) from 1993 to 2000.
He has been director of the CEMI research center since 1996.
He was a consultant to the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs (1987-1990) and the French Ministry of Defense (1989-2003). He was chief economist of TACIS-UEPLAC in Kiev (1999-2002).
He is a member of the scientific editorial board of Problemy Prognozirovanya (Moscow) and Economic and Social Changes (Vologda). He has been editor-in-chief of the monthly World Oil since 1999 and has contributed to Post-Soviet Affairs. He has written 31 books.
He was elected a foreign member of the Russian Academy of Sciences in October 2016.
